Namaste Guruji, thank you for the information.
I did some research on my birth chart (DOB:16-June-1979, POB: Kolhapur, Maharastra, TOB: 2:25 AM), With this time I get Aries Lagna (in Ashwini Nak 2 deg 57’)( Jhora software by Sri PVR Narasimha Raoji and the ayanamsa suggested by the author).
I tried to see the events through my chart , but they were not satisfactory and then it struck me that the birth time could be incorrect.
I tried to correct my birth time using the Jhora software through Navamsha , Chaturthamsha, Saptamsha and Dasamsa charts. And to my surprise I get approximately 2:15 AM (Meena Lagna 29 deg 57') to be somewhat accurate considering the events in my life which have occurred.
I could be completely wrong in my analysis as I am just an upstart amateur student of astrology.
Guruji, I need your help and advice if my research is correct, in arriving at the correct birth time. It would be a great honor and of immense help if you could kindly suggest what could be my approx accurate birth time.
Here are a few important events of my life:

5. Moved to the US Dec 2012
6. Daughter born May 2013

9th house vs all 11 houses in a horoscope.
Dear learned members,
Today i would like to discuss about a unique chart i came across. In this Tula lagna chart apart from 9th house every other planet and house looks afflicted. This chart belongs to a person who is a male 32 years old residing in foreign country and still struggling to find a stable profession and income. He is currently running a rahu-venus-saturn dasha, atmakarka and 11th lord sun placed in 8th house along with 2nd & 7th lord mars. I am just wondering does this person have any possibility of regular income in future as its 10th, 11th, 2nd,4th, 5th,7th house lords are afflicted. I can only see a strong 9th house nothing else. My question is "Do 9th house is capable of saving this native from various duryogas present in his chart?" Please share your valuable opinions.

In this case, do you think Mars mahadasa would be beneficial for material purposes or for spiritual purposes?
Mars in 12th is in Taurus (enemy house). Do you think Mars could be strengthened with Coral for beneficial results?

Ideal career for me
Hi,
my details are Aug 5th 1972, 14:20 pm Mumbai
I seem to have 10th lord (Sun) in 9th house. And my Atmakaraka is Moon and AmatyaKaraka is Saturn both of them being in 7th house.
Is business/ entrepreneurship the right career for me (sun+mercury+ketu in 9th) ?
Or I should stick to academia ?
I have spent 15 years engineering career but never got too far on corporate ladder.

The 11H from Arudha Lagna (Aq) is Sagittarius having the rashi drsti of several planets - hence the confusion. In fact five planets aspecting the 11H from AL indicate multiple sources and all this only brings in more confusion.
In all this I would recommend Mercury as the giver of good income as Mercury is also taking the native to his work place.
If Mercury is is 1st drekkana, then Rama, 2nd drekkana then Krishna and if in 3rd drekkana then Parasurama - this is the deity to be worshipped for success.

What difference would it make if the Yogkarka Planet (Venus) is in 8th house for Capricorn Lagna? Venus(9deg) is in conjunction with Mars (23deg) and Saturn(5deg) with Sun being in 6th house (conj with combusted Jupiter), does this shows any karmic backlog owing to 8th house placement. Also is there any remedies?. Does the ill-effects of the planets in the sign of Sc and Aq is similar to them being in 8th and 11th house?. Regards Preeti

If I may comment on your horoscope here:
It's very interesting with the following rare observations
1. 7th lord in 7th house (Moon), 6th lord in 6th house (Mercury) and 12th Lord in 12th (JUpiter)
2. Mercury (AtmaKaraka) and Venus (AmatyaKaraka) both in 6th house
Have you been in public, political or medical related profession so far ?
Based on my understanding your chart indicates Public influence, drive to compete, desire for people service and ability to shine in limelight. Civil services career should bring those out well I think.
Probably Mars and Saturn together in 10th may be causing some push-pull in your mind and Rahu in Taurus indicates that you may need to learn to be persistent.
This is not intended to be offensive but just my analysis.
Sanjayji and everyone, I am an ameteur in this area but please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

I always want to work in public sphere ..yes that drive to do something for nation/people is very strong,have been exceedingly good in studies, but career doesnt reflect that,wanted to pursue MBA from uk/us cldnt make due to financial constraints,now will join financial sector ( bank) but always want to work in defence/civil services.. yes m not very patient,have a robust physique ( tall n stout( when compared to a lady) will i ever achieve my ambition in other words will I make it large? at times i sulk when i think about my missed opportunities or opportunities not grabbed well ..am married and towards late 20s ..hence time is already passing out ..this adds to my curiosity and anxiety more ..parents especially my mom has always expected a lot from me..at times i feel little dejected but then again decide to work hard..mom was detected with cancer last year but now shes doing fine ..so there have been ups and downs in my career ..could you help me analyse my career and any remedial measures if any ...Moon in 7th gives a good partner and yes m extremely lucky to have an understanding and good looking partner!

Serious Marital Problems aggravated by Blue Sapphire Use.
Dear Mr Rath
At the outset, cannot express my delight to finally find your website and that too with an interactive forum. I am personally very enthusiastic in astrology and have recently joined a 3 (three) year course in Indian Institute of Astrology, Kolkata.
However, I am facing some problems in my personal life i.e. my marital life has not been to friendly to either me or my wife. My Birth details are 5-9-83, 4.40 PM, Kolkata and my wife’s Birth details are 31-7-83, 10:58 PM, Kolkata. Because of our frequent discords, we eventually went to an astrologer who suggested that since I have Mars and Moon in my 7th Chart, thereby being a Manglik, I should wear a 10.5 Ratti Red Coral and my wife should use a 3.36 Ratti Blue Sapphire. My wife purchased a blue sapphire and started using it. Please note that till now I am not using the same. Subsequently, since the date my wife started testing the Neelam, things took a complete downturn. Things went out of hand to a very bad extent. As of now, me, my wife and my 9 month old daughter will be staying separately away from my parents. I assume you have understood the problem.
I thereafter consulted a forum, wherein I disclosed my details and to my shock, one of the Experts therein told me that I was wrongly advised. Even though my Mars is debilitated in my Lagna Chart it is exalted in my Navamsa Chart and that too in a trine. Therefore, I need not use the Red Coral and I can simply use a pearl on my ring finger. Regarding my wife’s planetary positions, the Expert added that in her Lagna Chart with Aries Ascendant, Saturn is exalted in her seventh and Saturn and Sun are again in her seventh in the Navamsa Chart. Therefore the use of Blue Sapphire has aggravated the problems. I am really not sure as to whether the advice is adequately supported by research.
My earnest request to you would be to please let me know, whether at all I have Kuja Dosha or there is a Neechbhanga of Mars in my chart, thereby eliminating any strains of Kuja Dosha. And what gems should I and my wife use to rectify the ongoing discords.
